It seemed as if our time on earth is drawing to a close,

Day by day, night by night, we are overcome by the difficulties of what we call life,

Now more than ever we should value our lives even more.

Switch on the news to hear of the vast ways the Devil tries to destroy humanity,

You turn left and see hatred,

You turn right and see death,

It seems as if the only way is up.

But now more than ever we have to look after each other,

We do not know what could happened tomorrow,

Continue living every day as if it was your last,

because you don’t know what could happen next.

You see all the smiling faces on the train but you don’t see the demons they are fighting inside,

What’s a kind word?, you say

Means everything when you’ve reached breaking point,

Wouldn’t you want people to do that you you too?

A shoulder to cry on, a figure to rely on,

All necessary in this world of wretched human nature,

Hold each other’s hands,show love.

Be that one to lift your head up high,

Through this time of distress,

Pray for others, think of others,

Treasure your life, your gifts, your belongings,

Think twice before you ever moan for something again,

You don’t know what that would do for others.

Think twice before every judge someone again,

You don’t know the shrouded life that you have been living.

So now more than ever step up to the plate,

Go that extra mile to help others and mostly help yourself,

Because in the end your greed and despair won’t help you, but your kindness will.
